L'Invitation Au Mucho Confusion

About half an hour ago I saw this ad on youtube and I was forced to watch the entire 1:00 ad. I almost cried at how bad it was.

Not only is this a poor taste of music (everyone knows this is from 28 Days Later, or at least we are all thinking one thing....ZOMBIES) but there are cuts every 3 seconds. It gives me a headache to watch. Nothing happens in the entire 1:00. I am amazed at how little has happened and how confused I am left wondering who is Louis Vuitton and what is this ad even for???

Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 is officially released today. It is developed by Ubisoft, the same company who also released Assassin's Creed III.  Assassin's Creed III is also a very nice game, but the storyline and characters are dull.  I find it hard to become interested in the story so I quit watching it.  It might be one of those games that are more fun to play rather than watch, but I feel like a strong game should be fun to both play and watch.

As usual, in Far Cry 3 the main storyline is blah, but it's the side characters that have the personality and interest. Great dialogue and great voice actors.

Ashes to Ashes

Hopefully, I am working on the final and last pass of my animatic Ashes to Ashes.  I will be posting it soon on my website along with it each of the passes.  I really like to show the process and how much work and revision goes into making each piece, in order to give those who are unfamiliar with the animation process insight into what goes on behind those closed doors.

I am also contemplating on changing the name to "Limbo" not only because it's short and sounds better but it is overall a better fit considering the storyline and setting.  Even though "Limbo" was the original title of the animation, I changed it in fear of people confusing it with the popular game Limbo.  As time passes, I realize how much better of a fit Limbo is as well as how much my prior concern really isn't that big of an issue.  Many people may have never heard of Limbo since not everyone is a video game nerd.

TellTale Games: The Walking Dead

So I've never seen the tv show (I've heard complete opposite reviews from different people) but I did watch the play through of the game for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.  It's divided into 5 episodes and is deters, very early on, from the tv plot.  It's brilliantly written.  I was in tears when I finished watching the final episode.

TheRadBrad is a great video game reviewer who plays the game, doesn't talk over the story line, is knowledgable about the series he plays and is by far my favorite to watch.

If you ever want to watch a game before buying it, or like me, you just like to watch games for the hell of it check it out here.
